Curriculum
Key Stage 3 (KS3)
At KS3 our students follow a broad and balanced curriculum that is knowledge rich. A two-week timetable is operated and it is augmented by a structured tutor programme and Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE). Throughout Years 7 to 9 students study the following subjects over the two-week timetable:

Key Stage 4 (KS4)
At KS4 our students follow a core curriculum that is then supplemented by qualifications that they have chosen to study. A two-week timetable is operated and it is augmented by a structured tutor programme and Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE) – which has an increasing focus on Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG). Throughout Years 10 to 11 students study the following subjects over the two-week timetable:

*All students complete a minimum of 2 x GCSEs in Science. Some students will study separately GCSE Biology, GCSE Chemistry and GCSE Physics; giving them 3 x GCSEs in Science. This is covered by the core time allocated to Science and students’ selection of ‘Triple Science’ as an option subject.
